FUELS REDUCTION
A century of fire suppression and decades of clear-cut logging have led to dense forests with a very high risk of catastrophic wildfire. Healthy forests need low-intensity fires to be maintained. These fuel reduction projects help minimize the intensity of wildfires and recreate proper ecosystems.
